Follow these instructions for easy House Training:
1. Place the plastic lining of the Dry-Tech pads face down in the area your puppy is kept.
2. Place your pet onto the Dry-Tech pad whenever it seems he is ready to relieve himself. Praise your pet if he relieves himself on the pad. If he goes on a surface other than the pad, bring him to the pad as soon as possible and praise him. After 1 week of repeatedly training your dog to relieve himself on the Dry-Tech pad, your dog will learn the proper place to go. Do not move the pad to another location until he is trained. Moving the pad will only confuse him.
Note: Good training opportunities are after meals, after drinking water, and before and after sleeping.
3. When your dog’s indoor training is completed, begin to train him outside. By placing the Dry-Tech pad outside, your dog will soon learn to relieve himself there. Once this habit is formed, you can eliminate the use of Dry-Tech pads.
